It's August, and that means we are entering the thick of the grant evaluation process. Many thanks to all of you who have signed up to serve on a Focus Area Committee (FAC) this year. Financially supporting the hard-working nonprofits that serve Okaloosa and Walton Counties is our REASON FOR BEING here at Impact100 Northwest Florida. That means rolling up our sleeves to evaluate grant applications in the various focus areas and to make thoughtful, informed choices about where our money goes.
If you are on a Committee, here are a few key dates to keep in mind:
August 8 – Last day for FAC Members to complete the Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement (Online)
August 8 – FAC Member Orientation (via Zoom)
Mid-August through early September - Site Visits (more specifics to come from your Chair and Co-Chair soon!)
Mid-September – Complete Post-Site Visit Evaluations, vote, cast tie-breaking votes (if needed)
October 4 – Finalist Reveal Party at Legendary Marina in Destin!
